GOKUL Institute of Technolgy and Sciences(GITAS) has been established by Mother Theresa's Educational Society in the year 2001 under the leadership and guidance of Sri Kanjerla Lakshmi Narayana Yadav Ex- Minister, A.P. and he is Founder Chairman of GOKUL Institute of Technology And Sciences. GOKUL is promoted by NRI Engineers and Doctors from U.S.A & Singapore.
GOKUL has been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi for 471 seats in B.Tech courses and 60 seats in MCA, 60 seats in MBA courses. GOKUL is recognised by Govt. of A.P. and affiliated to JNTU,Hyderabad.
GOKUL P.G.COLLEGE has been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi for 60 seats in MCAand recognised by Govt. of A.P. and affiliated to JNTU,Hyderabad.
GOKUL COLLEGE OF PHARMACY has been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi for 60 seats in B. Pharmacy ,and recognised by Govt. of A.P. and affiliated to JNTU,Hyderabad.

Admissions-2009-10
In Andhra Pradesh the admissions for 1st B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, MCA, MBA and M.Tech.
will be started in August. Among the total intake seats only 25% seats can be allotted as “Management Quota”.

The fee structure for the Management Quota is about 91,700 for B.Tech & B.Pharmacy Rupees per each year and miscellaneous fees are extra. ELIGIBILITY: The eligibility for the B.Tech admission is minimum 50% marks in inter/+2 or any equaling.
Regarding the lateral entry 10% of intake seats are allotted as lateral entry seats. The lateral entry means direct admission into 2nd year B.Tech generally the seats are being filled Govt. of A.P. with the qualified candidates in E-Cet.
If any seats are left over in lateral entry by the Govt. Then the remaining seats can be filled by the management for the fees of convener quota.
