Guru Nanak Engineering College is located about 33 kms from Hyderabad, at Ibrahimpatnam, RR Dist., in serene and tranquil surroundings.
Guru Nanak Engineering College (GNEC) is promoted by the Guru Nanak Educational Society, which was founded to educate and empower the youth who play a decisive role in shaping the destiny of the nation.
The College was established in the year 2001 with an objective to impart quality education to students in the field of Technology and Management studies. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad. Within a short span, GNEC got Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institution has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification and is well-equipped with qualified teaching professionals. GNEC has emerged as one of the Premier Engineering College in the State with an overall intake of 792 students in various undergraduates and post graduates courses including BTech, MTech, MBA and MCA.

Admission Procedure
Admissions are made as per rules/guidelines laid by the A P Government, APSCHE (A P State Council of Higher Education) and JNTU. GNEC being a Sikh Minority College, reservation rules pertaining minority Colleges are applicable. For Management Seats are open for all eligible candidates including candidates belonging to other States and Union Territories of India and NRIs, who are Qualified in EAMCET and non qualified in EAMCET but having minimum 60% in aggregate or in group in 12th standard having the Subjects of Maths, Physics, Chemistry are eligible for the Admission.
