Admission
A candidate should possess the eligibility of 10+2 qualification from Board of Intermediate, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as his/her optional subjects, or any other equivalent examination recognized as equivalent there to.A student to step in four-year degree course in Engineering except NRI quota must qualify in “Engineering, Agricultural Sciences And Medical Common Entrance Test” (EAMCET), a State-Level Entrance Test conducted by the Govt. Of Andhra Pradesh. Students who qualify in EAMCET entrance test will be admitted strictly on merit bases.
The Convener of EAMCET admits on merit secured in Intermediate or an equivalent examination and the rank secured in EAMCET.
The Management admits candidates for the Management and NRI quota based on merit and should possess first class in optional subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
The Convener of ECET admits 10% of the candidates from the stream of Diploma Holders should pass in diploma from Andhra Pradesh State Government or an equivalent examination.

A Brief Introduction
KLCE being a private college, is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University. University specifies the syllabus of the subjects to be followed, schedule of end examinations, valuation of examinations, selection of members of teaching staff and guidelines for general administrative procedures. The college is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.

At present, the Institute has premises sprawling over 19.8 hectares (50 acres). The campus is about 5 km from Huzurabad and is located at midway on Waragnal-Karimnagar State Highway. Convener Seats
Among all the seats, 85% of the seats are filled up by the Convener, EAMCET-Admissions.
Any candidate passed in qualifying exam ( 10+2 ) or its equivalent in one sitting and shouldget the rank in EAMCET exam conducted by the State Government is eligible for admission under this category.
Management Seats
The remaining seats of 15% are called the Management Seats and are filled up by theManagement of the college.
Any student passed the Intermediate or its equivalent exam in II Division or 50% marksin optional subjects or on the basis of rank obtained in EAMCET exam conductedby the State government.
Lateral Entry Seats( Direct Admission in to Second Year of B.Tech )
A separate set of seats are filled by the way of direct admission into Second year ofB.Tech course and are called Lateral Entry Seats.

KSRM College of Engineering (Kandula Srinivasa Reddy Memorial College of Engg) :
The college owes its existence to the keen interest of Late Kandula Obul Reddy to develop technical education in Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. With a view to translating his noble ideal of imparting technical education into reality, a Technical Training Institute at Vempalli, Kadapa District was started in 1979 under the aegis of Sri Kandula Obul Reddy charities. It is in the year 1980 that K.S.R.M. College of Engineering was established to perpetuate the memory of Late Sri. Srinivasa Reddy, youngest son of Late Sri Obul Reddy. Sri Srinivasa Reddy, a brilliantstudent of III year Mechanical Engineering at Delhi College of Engineering, New Delhi, met with his untimely death in a scooter accident on 18th Oct, 1979. The college was formally inaugurated on 14 November 1980 by Sri T. Anjaiah, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and it started functioning from the academic year 1980-81. Development The college had its modest beginnings in 1980 with an intake of 160 students with core branches – Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications and Mechanical Engineering. With the conserted efforts of the Management and the Principal, the departments have been strengthened year after year and the intake has steadily been increased to 570 by the year 2002. Keeping in view the latest trends, priorities and relevance in Engineering and Technology, the Board of Management decided to start Computer Science and Engineering in 1990 commemorating the decennial year of the college. A new branch Industrial & Production Engineering was started in 1997-98. At the dawn of new millennium, another fast emerging branch Information Technology was started. Later in the year 2002 another newer branch Instrumentation and Controls Engineering was started. Furthering its sphere of activity, the college started Post graduate programme in Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an intake of 30 in the year 1995-96. The intake has been gradually increased to 40 in the year 1998-99 and 60 in the year 2001-02. By the year 2004-05, the intake rose to 120. Another Post graduate course namely Master of Computer Applications (MCA) was started in 1999 with an intake of 30 and it has been increased to 60 in 2000. In the year 2004 the college has applied for M.Tech., programmes in Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering where in Mechanical Engineering CAD/CAM has been sanctioned and the sanction of the other two are awaited. The branches have constantly been strengthened by increasing the intake from time to time. This reflects one aspect of the progress and development of the college. JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad
History of the College
The College was established as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College in 1965 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. When the college was under the administrative control of the Department of Technical Education, it was affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. With the formation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University on 2nd October 1972, it became a constituent college of the University and was later renamed as JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad. From its inception in 1965 to 1984, the College was located at Masab Tank Campus. In 1984, the College was shifted to its permanent location at Kukatpally, a 100 acres site, about 20 km from the heart of the City, on Bomay National Highway (NH-9).
The activities of the college are basically supported by the budgetary allocation from the University funds. Specific grants from different funding agencies like UGC, MHRD, AICTE, DST are also sought from time to time for the development of the college. The College has purchased modern and sophisticated equipment worth about 20 crores from the research and development grants received from MHRD, AICTE, DST and TEQIP (A World Bank-aided Project). The college celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1990.
The infrastructure development in the past two decades in the college has been substantial. After shifting to the new campus in 1984, the Civil and Mechanical Engineering block and Hostel blocks for boys and girls were added. Subsequently Computer Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, separate Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Library blocks were constructed. The college library consists of nearly 61,414 books, and about 126 Journals and 4000 on-line journals. It also subscribes to 50 Journals every year.
The Industrial Consultancy Unit of the college is very active in offering the expertise of the staff in various fields like Structural Engineering Geotechnical Engineering Survey, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Almost all departments have Computers to carry out Computer Laboratories, Projects, Research and Development work. The systems include Pentiums and work stations. Some departments have very powerful computer systems to carry out special purpose works. A 24x7 Centralized Computer Centre, having biometric entry, has been established which is open to students and staff round the clock on all days including holidays. Important softwares of all the departments are housed in it and can be accessed by the students and staff.
The college presently has 4 hostel blocks namely Godavari Hostel and Krishna Hostel (for boys) and Saraswati Hostel & Kamala Nehru (for Girls). The college provides hostel facilities for about 820 boys and 575 girls. A new PG Hostel for Boys is ready for occupation. Other facilities in the campus include a bank, Post office, Hospital, Canteen, play fields along with a pavilion etc. The college has NCC (National Cadet Corps) and NSS (National Service Scheme) units. Almost 100% of our college students are getting employment through campus placements.
The student branch of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is very active. The college also has ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education) chapter.

About the College:
The College was established on 16th July 1946 as the College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam situated at Kakinada. It was later named as the Government College of Engineering, Kakinada. After being initially affiliated to the University of Madras and later to the Andhra University, it became a constituent College of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University at the time of its formation on 2nd October 1972.The Principal is the administrative and the academic Head of the College. The Research and Development activity in the College got a boost with the procurement of modern and sophisticated equipment under MHRD and AICTE schemes. A few Ph.D theses were completed in addition to a number of M.Tech. theses. A few funded and sponsored research schemes have been in progress. Members of the teaching faculty authored a good number of research papers, research reports and textbooks during the last few years. The College was established on 16th July 1946 as the College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam situated at Kakinada. It was later named as the Government College of Engineering, Kakinada.
