Degree Holders for admission to MBA / MCA Degree Courses offered in the Engineering Colleges under the purview of Director of Technical Education. Chennai -600 025 and in the Arts & Science Colleges and standfordalone Institutions under the purview of the Directorate of College Education, Chennai -600 006 for the academic year 2007-08

1. Qualification
MBA: a pass in any Degree from a recognized University with 10+2+3 pattern
MCA: A Pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree or Minimum 3 years duration with 10+2+3 pattern with core Mathematics at 10+2 school level (or) with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level
2. Entrance Examination: Candidates should have appeared for Entrance Examination (TANCET-2007) conducted by
Anna University, Chennai -600 025
3. Issue of Application Forms: Application forms will be issued from 20.06.2007 and can be obtained in person or by post from the following institutions.

4. Cost of Application Form: The cost of Application form is Rs.300/- for others and in respect of SC / ST candidates, the application form Rs.150/- on production of attested Xerox copy of the community Certificate. The cost of the application form must be paid in the form of Demand Draft Drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu MBA / MCA Admissions 2007, Government College of Technology, Coimbatore” payable at Coimbatore obtained not earlier than 18.06.2007 from any Nationalized / Scheduled Bank. Payment towards the cost of application form by a any other mode will not be accepted. Printed booklets containing information about colleges are available in the application sales counter on payment of Rs.50/- by cash. To get the application Formby post, a separate self-addressed envelope of size 35”×26” stamped to the value of Rs.50/- along with a Demand Draft should be sent with a requisition and the cover must be superscribed as “Requisition for application form for admission to MBA / MCA Degree Courses – 2007”.
