Sarada Institute of Science, Technology and management started in Srikakulam during the year 1998 with the engineering degree courses viz., CSE, ECE, EEE & Mech. and another course viz., CSIT added during 2001.The intake in each course is 60 and a total of 300 intake altogether.

In the given context of steadily deteriorating educational standards in general and technical education in particular, Vipassana Educational Trust was brought into existance by philanthropic persons who are celebrities in the field of technical education and Pharmaceuticals. Daita Madhusudhana Sastry Sri Venkateswara Hindu College of Engineering, Machilipatnam is one of the oldest self financed institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh to impart high quality of Technical Education in the Engineering discipline.

Procedure & Eligibility: The candidates who want to seek admission in SRR have to qualify in the EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) examination conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The eligibility is 10+2 with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as their main stream.
The candidates should attend the counseling for admission into the Engineering colleges conducted by the Convener. Based on the rank obtained in EAMCET, candidates can opt for SRR as per the availability of the college and branch at the time of counselling. S.R. Engineering College, Ananthasagar, Warangal

SR Engineering College is situated 15 km away from Warangal on state highway -7 which connects the districts of Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Adilabad in the Telangana region. The college is located in serene and peaceful environs that add flavor to the cause of learning. The artistic excellence of the college buildings form a suitable backdrop, and spur students to excel in their studies.

S.R Engineering college started functioning in the year 2002 with four branches of Engineering viz., Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering with an intake of 60 students in each branch. total strength comes to 240.

From academic year 2004-05, Mechanical Engineering has been added to the list of options that students choose from. A post-graduate program in computer applications i.e., Master of Computer Applications has also been introduced. The sanctioned intake for both courses is 60 students per batch. The intake of Electronics and Communication Engineering course has been enhanced to 120 students. In 2005, the intake of Computer Science Engineering too was enhanced to 120 students.

In 2006, Information Technology and MBA Courses have been introduced with an intake of 60 students each. The Total Intake of the college is 540 Students per Year.


The Under Graduate Admissions in the college is through a common entrance examination which will be conducted for the students who have completed their 10+2 or intermediate which is a two year course. The examination will be conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for every year during the months of March-April.
The prerequisite to get into the college is to pass all the subjects in their 10+2 or intermediate studies and give a good performance in the common entrance exam i.e., EAMCET.
The respective student has to attend the councelling program in which he/she can select the college.
The student can select any branch of Engineering as per their rank. The college is offering 5 courses in the Engineering stream as follows:
