Decision Sciences (Operations Research / Statistics), Economics, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources Management, information Technology and Systems, Marketing, Operations Management, Strategic Management
Eligibility: The candidates for the programme must have either a Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 60% marks, or a Masters' degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks.
The candidates must, have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the admission process.
Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 45 years of age as on 30th June, 2009.
Selection Process: Candidates will be short-listed for the selection interview on the basis of one of the following exams: Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs, GATE, GRE, GMAT, and JRF of UGC/CSIR.
Scores of any of these exams taken during the last two years (i.e., on or after July 01, 2007) will be considered valid. Candidates already holding a PGDM from any of the IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale are exempted from taking one of the exams listed above, and can apply directly through the prescribed Application Form.
Financial Support: All FPM students are provided with a monthly stipend of Rs.15,000/- for first two years and Rs.17,000/- subsequently, an annual contingency grant of Rs.10,000/- for first two years and Rs.15,000/- for the next two years for purchase of book/hardware/software etc, a one-time computer purchase grant of Rs.50,000/-, international and domestic conference travel grant of Rs.75,000/-and Rs.10,000/- respectively, an additional performance based national conference grant of Rs.10,000/- each during third and fourth year, and reimbursement of travel expenses up to Rs.50,000/- for case writing and field research.
The students are entitled for reimbursement of family health insurance premium and membership fee of one national and international professional society. In addition to these, they are exempted from fees, provided with free family lodging facilities and transport assistance to their school going children.
NRIs and foreign candidates will be required to bear all the expenses including the tuition fee.

The Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS), Harihar, Karnataka, was established in the year 1991, for conducting Management Development Program.
The Late Shri. S. L. Kirloskar's vision of creating a centre of excellence for management education, training, research and consultancy was initiated with KIAMS’s establishment.

Eligibility
A Bachelor's degree after (10+2) in any discipline from a recognized institution, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate (45% marks or equivalent CGPA for candidates belonging to SC/STtor persons with Disability Category).
For Honours graduates the aggregate will include marks of both Honours and Pass Papers. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification examination can also apply, provided on their selection to the program, they submit their mark sheets and certificates latest by December 31,2009.
Selection:
Applicant shall have to appear Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs on November 16, 2008. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection.
The sanctioned strength for the MBA Program is 40 and the reservation policy of Government of India meant for higher educational institutions is strictly adhered to.
A selected candidate who fails to take admission by the last date may loose his/her claim. On the last date of admission, after 12 Noon, the seats may be offered on merit basis to wait listed candidates.
Note
Our institute uses CAT score for short-listing candidates for our two year full time program in Management. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.

Applications are invited on three A4 size paper (form can be downloaded from institute's website) (two pages for the application proforma and one page for the identification card) according to format given below from intending candidates of Indian Nationality for Admission to 5½ yrs Degree Course (BHMS) in Homoeopathy (including one year Compulsory rotatory Internship) at the National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata, affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences for the academic year 2008-2009.
Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with the subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained 50% marks in aggregate for general candidates and 45% marks for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates are eligible to apply.
The candidates should attain 17 years of age by 31st December 2008. The candidates who have appeared for Higher Secondary (10+2) candidature will be taken into consideration provided that the result of examination is published before the admission and they have secured the required percentage of marks which has to be substantiated by production of documentary proof.
Blind (including colour blind) deaf and/or dumb candidates are not eligible to apply for the course.
Selection:
Out of total admission of 60 (Sixty) candidates,

(iv) The admission test will be of three hours duration and carrying an aggregate of 200 marks. Also enclose 04 (four) identical copies of recent (taken after 30th June, 2008, with a placard showing candidate's name and date of photo / the photographs should be taken without spectacles and cap/hat) passport sie(3.5cm x 4.5 cm) colour photographs.
[02 (two) copies are to be pasted on the specified area on the application, which should be attested by a Gazetted Officer after pasting with part of signature on the photograph and part of signature on the application form, other 02 (two) unpasted. should be signed on the reverse by candidate].

Selection will be made strictly on the basis of the combined Merit acquired by a Candidate in CAT 2008, Group Discussion and interview.
The FMS, BHU uses CAT for short-listing the candidates for its two-year full time Post-Graduate Programmes in Management.
IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.

Admission to Vacant Seats in B.E. 2008 through Institutional Counseling at BIT Mesra, BIT Patna and BIT Deoghar
Few seats in the B.E. program, under state quota for various states, are vacant at BIT Mesra, BIT Patna and BIT Deoghar after the first round of Central Counselling and admissions through Form 1 and Form 2.
The vacant seats are to be filled through Institutional Counselling, Selection for each State and category / sub-category will be strictly based on All India Rank in AIEEE 2008 from among those candidates who have been declared eligible for Central Counselling and also fulfill the other eligibility criteria of the Institute, including age and marks in Class 10 & Class 12.

Admission to MBA Program - 2008, Based On CAT-2007
Applications are invited for admission to full-time MBA Program 2008 - 2010 at Mesra, and our Extension Centres at Lalpur, Noida and Jaipur. Please see our website for detailed notification and addresses of Centres.
Eligibility:
(A) Candidates must have appeared in CAT 2007. They must hold a recognized Bachelor's degree (minimum 10+2+3) in any discipline, with 60 % (50 % for SC/ST) marks in Honours / aggregate of all subjects, they must also have passed in all subjects in Class 10 and Class 12 (excluding optional subjects) with minimum of 60% (50 % for SC/ST) marks in Class 10 (average of all subjects, excluding optional subjects) and Class 12 (average of best 5 subjects, excluding optional subjects).
Candidates graduating in 2008 can also apply, provided they can submit marksheets by 31 Oct 2008. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programmes are eligible only if they acquired such qualifications as working professionals / while in employment.

Admission to Vacant Seats in B.E. 2008 through Institutional Counseling at BIT Mesra, BIT Patna and BIT Deoghar
Few seats in the B.E. program, under state quota for various states, are vacant at BIT Mesra, BIT Patna and BIT Deoghar after the first round of Central Counselling and admissions through Form 1 and Form 2.
The vacant seats are to be filled through Institutional Counselling, Selection for each State and category / sub-category will be strictly based on All India Rank in AIEEE 2008 from among those candidates who have been declared eligible for Central Counselling and also fulfill the other eligibility criteria of the Institute, including age and marks in Class 10 & Class 12.
