This Two year MBA Programs is offered by DBS which is approved by AICTE, Goverment of India and affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun.
This programme provides comprehensive industry exposure coupled with academic knowledge. The students successfully completing this programme will get a recognised MBA degree.
MBA Degree shall be conferred in convocation of UTU. The MBA Degree is recognised by GOI for all job to goverment department, for furtherance of doctorate studies, large multinational companies and corporates for various jobs.
The degree of UTU is well recognised world wide and is equivalent to any 3+2 (masters) level world wide.
Course Declaration
The course is a two year full time regular programme divided into four semesters of six months each. The session shall start from August every year out of which there will be a summer training of two months in an organization after appearing in second semester.
Subjects & Electives
Emphasis is on practical aspects of management education whereby the students are given ample opportunities to interact with industry professionals through seminars, industrial tours and industry oriented projects.
Students are also given additional training on softwares like SAP, Oracle, Tally and SAS which have industrial relevance and are in great demand from industry.
Eligibility
Graduate degree in any discipline. Students with work experience will be given preference. Final year students awaiting results may also apply.
Admission Procedure
The MBA programme will initially have an intake of students as approved by the University. Admission would be as per guideline laid down by Uttarakhand Technical University.
Admission will be through counseling of Uttarakhand Technical University. The merit list will be drawn in order of the students score obtained in the MAT/CAT examination.
Eligible students will need to get themselves registered with DBS, by filling up the prescribed form and paying the registration fee.

Applications complete in all respects should reach the Principal's office on or before 10th July, 2008 by 5:00 pm along with the Registration Fee of Rs.250/- (Rs.125/- for Reserved Category candidates) by cash or DD / Pay Order. Demand Draft / Pay Order should be drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Thadomal Shahani Engineering College - Mumbai.
Forms received thereafter shall not be entertained. Hostel facility is not available.
