About the Program
Diploma Program in Mechanical Engineering (Sandwich Pattern) is a unique course offered by Nachimuthu Polytechnic College (NPTC), Pollachi and TVS Motor Company (TVSM). Based on the sandwich pattern, the Program is designed to accommodate three internships of eight weeks duration each at TVSM, in addition to the regular intense academic inputs at Nachimuthu Polytechnic College.
Eligibility for Admissions:
Candidates should have passed the 10th standard examination from a recognized central or state board. Admission will be based purely on merit as per Directorate of Technical Education norms.
How to Apply:
Application can be obtained from the Principal, Nachimuthu Polytechnic College, Pollachi either in person or by post by remitting a demand draft / cash for Rs.150/-. DD must be drawn in favour of "The Principal, Nachimuthu Polytechnic College, payable at Pollachi". Fully filled in application forms must be submitted on or before 18-07-2008.
All expenses with regard to education and stay during the study period including travel and accommodation during internship will be borne by TVS Motor Company. Candidates will be absorbed by the company on successful completion of the course and will be required to serve for a minimum required period.
