The Hi-Point College of Engineering & Technology run by the Hi-Point Educational Society and is situated at a distance of 25 Km from the city of Hyderabad. Approved bu AICTE and affiliated to JNTU, the College runs four year 4-degree courses. Computer Science Engg. (CSE), Computer Science & Information Technology (CSIT) and Electronic Communication Engg. (ECE) ans Electrical & Electronics Engg.(EEE).
The college has a main building area of 2370 sq.metre and two other East & West Wings each of 3376 Sq.metre. The Floor area is more than 35000 Sq. ft in each building. The cost of land and the structure is more than 10 crores and the cost of the equipment in 15 laboratories is about 100 lakhs. The full time teaching staff for all the courses is 30, Technical staff is 4, one librarian and 11 class IV Employees.
Three computer labs having 140 Computer Systems provide much needed exposer to all the student. The Computer Lab is now able to conduct online examinations of 1st and 2nd years, a feather in the cap for the college. The college has conducted more than 50 projects in the final year degree course in the year 2005 - 2006.
We organize games and sports activities like Cricket, Volley Ball, Shuttle and many indoor games like Chess, Carom etc.


Admissions are based on the Common entrance Test EAMCET. Both Minority and non-minority communities are eligible. 75% seats are for Convener (A category) & 25% are Management seats (B category)
Applications can be obtained from the office of the PCMB office in SHADAN COMPLEX # 6-2-978, Khairatabad, Hyderabad, 500004 on payment of Rs.500/-
Applications downloaded from the website should be filled in and submitted in person along with the DD of Rs.500/- at the office of PCMB.
