Rizvi Education Society is a Public Charitable Trust establishd under the Societies Act 1950 and registered under the provisions of The Bombay Public Act, 1950. The main objective of the society has always been promoting education at all levels. Rizvi Education Society began with the College of Arts, Science and Commerce and Rizvi High School in the year 1985. It has now spread its wings and branched into Rizvi College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Rizvi College of Engineering, Rizvi Law College, Rizvi College of Education and Rizvi College of Fashion Designing & Creative Arts located at Rizvi Educational Complex, Off. Carter Road, Bandra (West), Mumbai. The picturesque and serene vicinity provides an ideal environment for students.
Apart from the institutions in Mumbai, a Degree College of Arts, Commerce and Science, and a Girls High School are currently functioning at Jaunpur (U.P.). Along with the Degree College of Arts & Commerce, a B.Ed College and High School have also been started from the academic year 1999-2000 at Allahabad (U.P.) Rizvi Education Society has plans to establish Degree and Diploma Colleges in the areas of Pharmacy, Journalism & Medical Sciences.
Although Rizvi Education Society emphasizes on academic excellence, co-curricular and extra curricular activities have been given their due importance and play a significant role in the lives of the students. In a short span of a few years. Rizvi Education Society has given a lot of time to this sports loving city. Some of the Rizviites are proud members of the Ranji Trophy Squad. To sum it up Rizvi Education Society has been acting as a catalyst to metamorphosize a learning society.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission
To be eligible for first year admission to four year Bachelors degree course, the candidate should have Passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (std XII) of Maharashtra State Board Of Secondary Education, or equivalent from other state with English.
Secured minimum 50% marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 marks for open category (45% i.e. 135 marks out of 300 marks for backward class candidates from Maharashtra ) as per directives of DTE from time to time.
Ranking obtained in MAH EN-CET-2005 or AIEEE for Engineering/Technology Degree Courses conducted by the Competent Authority of Government of Maharashtra for the academic year 2005-2006.
Diploma holder who have passed the diploma course in Engineering/Technology affiliated to MSBTE or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks. (Outside State students are also eligible).

Fee StructureThe update fee structure for unaided Engineering colleges after approval by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti will be made available on http://www.dte.org.in/fe2005. Unaided Engineering Colleges have submitted their revised proposal to Shikshan Shulka Samiti. Final decision of Shikshan Shulka Samiti will be binding to the students who will be admitted in the year 2005-06.
Mode of PaymentThe candidate who has been offered a seat in the college shall pay the prescribed fees in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order of any Nationalized/Scheduled bank. Nojother mode of payment shall be accepted.

University FeesThe candidate shall be required to pay the university fees as prescribed by the competent authorities from time to time.
Caution MoneyCaution money deposits received from the students shall be refunded after their successful completion of the course or after canceling the admission. Unless there is any recovery, no deduction shall be made from the caution money deposit. However, the amount of caution money deposit shall be transferred to Students Aid Fund, if candidate does not apply for refund, within 3 complete financial years after the student actually leaves the institution, or, within 3 complete financial years after the date of successful completion of the course, whichever is earlier.

Selection of Candidate in Merit:Total Marks secured by the candidate in the subj ects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics out of 200 marks in the MHT-CET-2005 examination will be considered for deciding the merit of the candidate. Merit of the Candidate (out of 200 marks) will be based on the MHT-CET-2005 score only.
Training and Placement at RIZVI College of EngineeringInstitute has a well established Training and Placement Cell. The Training and Placement department motivates the students providing the necessary help and guidance for their personality development. They are exposed to various organizations and corporate sectors, through expert lectures and short-term courses. The pre final and the final year students are privileged to train themselves in practical industrial training arranged during summer/winter vacations in various public and private organizations.
Nearly 90% of the students perform their final year projects in industries.
Each year more than 30 % to 40 % students are placed through this cell. The training and placement cell is active to keep touch with the industry and invites them to come and visit the institute for campus interviews.
Students are made confident enough of their caliber by taking up in plant training. It contacts various industries for placement at the end of the courses, to conduct campus interviews, besides interviews in the industries arranged by the cell.
