IBS offers high-quality programs in different areas of management to a cross-section of students, executives and professionals across India. IBS has a reputation for innovative program design and delivery, quality courseware, personalized instruction, strong industry interface, research, consultancy and publications.
Since its establishment in 1995, IBS has grown impressively and achieved widespread recognition from business and industry, academic circles, and professional bodies. IBS is consistently ranked among the top B-Schools in India, in the annual B-School surveys every year
IBS campuses at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida and Pune are the constituents of the Icfaian Foundation. These campuses are independent professional institutions and are neither affiliated to nor are off-campus centers of any University. Campuses at Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar and Chandigarh (Baddi) may become in due course the constituents of the proposed ICFAI Universities in the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Orissa and Himachal Pradesh respectively subject to completion of legal formalities.
IBS campuses offer two-year, full-time Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM) to prepare the students and equip them for successful corporate careers. As IBS campuses do not award degree or diploma, they have not sought AICTE approval. Students are encouraged to enroll for a fleximode / distance learning MBA from any University separately.
IBS campuses are committed to achieve excellence in teaching and research by focusing on the necessary hardware (like infrastructure, library, computers etc.) and software (like pedagogy, learning frameworks, e-learning kits, databases, software etc). Faculty members are encouraged to pursue teaching and research projects, publish research articles in refereed, journals and participate in various national and international research seminars and conferences.
The IBS family believes that management education should have a good blend of academic rigor and practical utility. The management graduates should be well-rounded with right knowledge, right skills and right attitudes.
The Program prepares the students with the skills, knowledge and strategic perspectives essential to the leadership of business around the world. The program is designed to provide both a portfolio of strong functional skills and the ability to apply, adapt and integrate those skills in different management situations.
