Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication Entrance Examination will be conducted on Monday, 11th May 2009 for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma Programs in the academic year 2009 - 2010.

Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communication
Duration 1 year (full time)
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those who have an aptitude for creative writing and effective communication skills and presentation.
Jobs: Huge potential in advertising agencies (media planning, creative, client servicing).
Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations & Event Management
Duration: 1 year ( full time )
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those who have an aptitude for creative writing, communication skills or interest in managing events.
Jobs: Huge potential in PR agencies, Event Management companies and Corporate Houses.
PG Diploma in Television & Radio Production
With focus on: Television Anchoring / News Reporting / Video Editing
Duration: 1 year ( full time )
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Preference will be given to those with aptitude for writing and creative imagination and communication skills.
Jobs: Television Channels and Production Houses, Bollywood, Serials, FM Stations, etc.
Affiliation: Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communication, Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations & Event Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Television & Radio Production are industry driven courses started to meet growing demand for young professionals and are not affiliated to any University.

Masters in Journalism & Mass Comunication (MJMC) 2 years (full time)
Eligibility: Graduation from recognized university with minimum 50% marks.(Those appearing in final degree exam this year are also eligible to appear, subject to securing minimum 50% marks.)
Jobs: It is an integrated course in which all areas of mass communication are taught.
Students are made eligible for jobs in: Newspaper & Television Channels, Advertising, Teaching, Public Relations, Research, Radio (This course is affiliated with UGC recognized Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar).

Admission Procedure:
All eligible candidates will be called for an entrance examination in Institute’s Campus, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The Institute reserves the right to call any candidate for entrance examination for administrative reasons.
All the candidates who appear in the written examination will be ranked on merit basis of the marks obtained by them.
A shortlist will be prepared for each of the courses.
The short-listed candidates and the direct admission will be intimated through post / phone to deposit the 1st installment fee on the required date, failing which they will be put in the waitlist.
The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay and loss in transit. Any dispute in regard to any matter shall be subject to jurisdiction of Delhi Court only.

However, those candidates who have secured 60% or above marks in graduation or in first two years of graduation, will be exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test.
They will be considered for admission under ‘Direct Admission’ category and will have to appear for Interview at the institute campus.
Examination Pattern:
Total Marks 100, Duration 1 hours at Apeejay campus, New Delhi
There will be two Sections: Objective & Subjective questions comprising:
General Awareness, General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50 marks).
Questions related to the field of chosen area. (50 Marks)
Internship: Internships in specialized area is mandatory for each course and will be arranged as follows:
