Jayamukhi Institute of Technological Sciences was established by Jayamukhi Educational Society in the year 2001 with approval from AICTE, New Delhi . It is recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh and affiliated to J.N.T.U., Hyderabad . It gained reputation as a quality institute for excellence in both academics and extra curricular activities of technical importance. The campus is located in 40 acres of green fields. The college is virtual heaven of rural quite and idyllic beauty. The institution is situated in picturesque surroundings which is around 30KM from historic town of Warangal .
JITS offers a four year B.Tech degree program in disciplines of CSE, ECE, EEE and IT with a total intake of 420 and post graduate courses M.Tech. (CSE), M.Tech.(SE),M.Tech(VLSI),M.Tech.(ES),MCA, MBA in addition to B.Pharmacy and B.Ed. courses under same society.
The CSE,IT,ECE and EEE branches are accredited by the National Board of Accrediatation. Many of the faculty members are pursuing their research and pursuing higher studies.
The institute is provided with splendid avenue, imposing buildings and sprawling play grounds. The college is well equipped with laboratories, excellent library facilities consisting of over 20,000 volumes with various Journals and Digital library with 15 computers. Computer labs have more than 650 computers with latest configuration and supported with 3 hours backup UPS and internet facility. “Jayamukhi Institute of Technological Sciences” is the successful Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC hosting college) in Warangal District, appreciated by IEG authorities for its best performance in implementing the various programmes to develop the soft skills. Many of our students have got wonderful opportunities for developing soft skills by attending JKC, CPM, CPRS, JIP and Foundation course is initiated by Infosys in our campus. Over 55 + students are placed through JKC campus placements in various leading companies like Wipro, TCS, Satyam and other Multi-National Companies, in the academic year 2006-2007. We are proud to inform that ISTE and IEEE students' chapters have been formed to excel in co-curricular activities like soft skills, personality development, organizing paper presentation etc.
