Nimra Educational Society - A Brief Introduction:
Nimra Educational Society (NES), a Muslim Minority body established in 1991 under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India is registered under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act of 1350 Fasli (Act 1 of 1350 Fasli) with Registration No. 3663.
NES is established with a view to promote general, technical, medical and other professional/scientific education among the upcoming generations regardless of their caste, creed and community but with a special focus on the Muslim Minorities. The Society adheres to all guidelines specified in the National Policy on Education 1986, according to which Muslims have been declared backward and educationally-deprived, and in order to bring them on par with other communities in the larger interest of National Integration, as mentioned in the subsequent guidelines released in October 1989 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.
NES has established Training Institutions and Professional Colleges to attract the masses towards professional education and has ensured a continuous improvement in their learning.

NIMRA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (NCET) was established in the year 1997 under the guardianship of NIMRA EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY, with the laudable aim of providing quality education on a sound basis and on non-commercial lines to all boys and girls.
Nimra College of Engineering & Technology is situated at 20 kms from Vijayawada on Vijayawada - Hyderabad Highway (NH9), is housed in its own beautiful building complex. NCET is affiliated to Jawarharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
