Pyadh College of Engineering and Technology

Vision

Aspiring to provide quality technical in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, to build students ability in all aspects of professional practice with good team work, leadership, ethics & safety in industry and other professional organisations and prepare for further studies with breath & depth required for higher studies. Develop communication skills in handling technical information & also develop laboratory & practice design skills to handle diverse technical projects for formulating solutions in electrical engineering and other organisations in a changing technological environment in India & abroad.

To prepare each individual student to transform into a professional capable of being a practicing engineer with: pursuit of quality & excellence on continous basis. Practicing & providing ethical values. Inculcating & maintaining a service attitude. Providing know-how with approriate development in engineering, humanistic & communication skills.

Objectives

The faculty of EEE department believe working towards achieving the following objectives in the students: Provide the background of electrical engineering fundamentals necessary to culminate in obtaining of the graduate degree in EEE. To say a strong foundation in relavant engineering aspects required for the current industry, to enable the students in competing for quality jobs. To inculcate abilities ti design discipline to enable them to provide engineering solutions in insustry. To train in the use of computers as a tool for analysis, simulation or control in electrical gaps. To provide good laboratory skills required for conducting experiments and use of instruments in data collection to carry art analysis of systems of various complexity. To support the management in encouraging students in obtaining competitiveness, leadership, understand aspects of social, industrial, human aspects to take up the next challenges required for the future growth.

Intake

The intake for each year as per rules is 60 students for an academic year & 6 students under lateral entry scheme.

Discipline Minimum Academic Requirements :
The following academic requirements have to be satisfied in addition to the attendance requirements mentioned in item no.6.
A student shall be deemed to have satisfied the minimum academic requirements and earned the credits allotted to each theory or practical design or drawing subject or project if he secures not less than 35% of marks in the end examination and a minimum of 40% of marks in the sum total of the internal evaluation and end examination taken together. A student shall successfully complete all the I year subjects from 3 regular consecutive examinations of I year from the date of admission. If he has failed to do so he shall forfeit the seat in course and his seat shall stand cancelled.
A student shall be promoted from II to III year only if he fulfils the academic requirement of 56 credits from the consecutive regular and supplementary examinations of I year and from the regular examination of II year I semester irrespective of whether the candidate takes the examination or not.
A student shall be promoted from third year to fourth year only if he passes all the subjects of I year and fulfils the academic requirements of total 100 credits (including 56 credits of I year) from the examinations, 1. Two regular and Two supplementary examinations of I year. 2. Two regular and one supplementary examinations of II year I Semester. 3. One regular and one supplementary examinations of II year II Semester. 4. One regular III year I Semester examination.
A student shall earn all the 212 credits offered as indicated in the course structure. Students who fail to earn all the 212 credits offered as indicated in the course structure within eight academic years from the year of their admission shall forfeit their seat in the course and their seat in the course and their seat shall stand cancelled.
