In the given context of steadily deteriorating educational standards in general and technical education in particular, Vipassana Educational Trust was brought into existance by philanthropic persons who are celebrities in the field of technical education and Pharmaceuticals. The Trust was established as a non-profit organization with a view to provide high quality technical education to the aspiring students of rural areas at an affordable cost. In line with the above objective Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology was established in the year 2001.The first batch of students in the CSE, IT and ECE branches passed out in 2005 with a percentage of about 65. Many of them are already employeed in the industry as well as in the Engineering colleges.
LOCATION: The College is situated at B.Gangaram, 7KM from Sathupally on the state Highway, Khammam District, away from hustle and bustle of Urban and Industries. Sathupally is accessible by Road from Vishakapatnam, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam and Hyderabad and other important towns in Telangana Area. APSRTC are plying direct buses to sathupally from these places.
AFFILIATION: The College was established in 2001 with the approval of the AICTE and the state Government of Andhra Pradesh. The College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
