BNMEI – B.N.M Educational Institutions was established by the Trust M/s. Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay Charities. It was started in the year 1972. The Managing Trustee Shri. N Raghunath Rao Maanay along with the sincere and dedicated efforts of Prof. Sunanda P Jadhav the first secretary and principal founded the institution with a focused vision to impart value based quality Education irrespective of Social, Financial or Religious status. Prof. Sunanda P. Jadhav made efforts to provide education at affordable cost especially to the girl child and her unstinted vision has yielded highly commendable results.
From a humble beginning the BNM group of Educational Institutions are now leaders of repute in the field of Education, providing the most modern methods while maintaining the rich cultural heritage of a great Indian tradition.
Education starts at BNM offering Montessori system to Tiny Tots at the tender age of Two and half years in the BNM Montessori House. BNM has an amalgam of Educational Institutions: BNM Primary (State Syllabus), BNM High School (State Syllabus), BNM Public School (Central Syllabus), BNM PU College, BNM Degree College and BNM Institute of Technology.

Eligibility for Admission to the Engineering Course
Admission for the first year of the course shall be open to the students who have passed the two years Pre-University Examination (Science) conducted by Karnataka State Pre-University Board. Or 10 + 2 School Programme of the Central Board (CBSE / ICSE) New Delhi with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical as optional subjects and English as a subject of study Or Those who have passed any other examinations recognized by the University as equivalent there to.
Candidates other than those from karnataka are required to obtain Eligibility Certificate from VTU, Belgaum.
The Eligibility norms are periodically fixed by VTU with all relevant details of Academic Eligibility, Recognised Equivalent Courses for admissions to UG Courses as well as PG Courses and Institutions recognized for eligibility.
