About us:

The efforts of Karnataka Reddyjana Sangha (KRJS) on a mission to impart quality technical education to all segments of society, became a reality in 1999 with the beginning of Vemana Institute of Technology. Karnataka Reddyjana Sangha is a pioneer in the field of Education and is presided by a well-known Educationist Sri.K.B Munivenkata Reddy, MLC.

Vemana Institute of Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, (AICTE) New Delhi and has gained recognition of the government of Karnataka. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University , Belgaum . The Institution is located in Koramangala, Bangalore , the silicon valley of India . Being located in the heart of city, the institute is well connected by public and private transport network. It is 8 km each from city and cantonment railway stations in Bangalore and is only 6 km away from Bangalore Airport .

In a span of seven years, VIT has grown steadily and has established all the infrastructure and facilities (and more than those) required as per the norms of the University (VTU) and the AICTE. The institute has more than adequate, spacious class rooms and laboratories well equipped with the necessary equipment and technology.

The Institute has good interaction with IT Companies - both hardware and software. Professionals from these companies are invited for visits, guest lectures and seminars to provide the students a better exposure to the real world.

VIT has an excellent placement cell that is responsible for guiding and getting the students aware of information pertaining to their requirements. A number of companies like Wipro, Tata Infotech, Elvista and TYCO visited our institute in the last year and have recruited a good fraction of our final year students.
