ABOUT VVCE SANGHA

Vidyavardhaka Sangha (R) is a well-established Organisation in Mysore city committed to impart education to the downtrodden members of the society. Veterans like Late Sahukar Channaiah and Late K. Puttaswamy (Former Minister of Karnataka) established the Sangha during the year 1949. At present, the Sangha is under the able guidance of Prof. P.M. Chikkaboraiah, Hon. President and Shri. P. Viswanath, Hon. Secretary.

Ever since its inception in 1997, Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering has been in continuous pursuit of excellence in imparting technical education. It has established itself as an institution where academic excellence and creative thinking go hand in hand. The mission of Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering is to sustain a community of individuals who are dedicated to the achievement of excellence and who share a vision related to Engineering, Management and Science. Each course at Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering adopts a comprehensive and unified approach calling for rigorous study in a variety of fields both within the discipline and other related areas. Thus the student is prepared with a thorough understanding of science and technology related to his discipline and its implications.

It gives me an immense pleasure to note that, Vidyavardhaka College Of Engineering, Mysore is bringing out the annual college magazine "VISMAYA" for the academic year 2007-08.
