"Sipna Shikshan Prasarak Mandal" was established eight years ago. The fulfillment of its comprehensive goal was achieved by the degree college in Chikhaldara, a remote hilly area known for its tribal and backward population, which has not only Art and Commerce faculty but also the much sought after subjects like Computer Science, Petrochemical Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science and Geology. The aim behind this college and the courses has been very clear that to provide need based contemporary education, which is the need of the day. After the successful accomplishment of the first milestone the next stride fulfilled the long cherished dream of the Amravati region when this unique engineering institution within the Amravati city limits was firmly incorporated in 1999. The nagging problem to commute from a long distance faced by the students, especially the girls, has been solved. This was possible due to the tireless efforts by the visionaries especiallyHon'ble Shri Jagdishbhau Gupta,MLC and Ex-Minister of Maharashtra state.


Eligibility for Graduate Admission
HSC with minimum 50 % for open candidates and 45 % of marks for backward class category and ranking obtained in MHT-CET 2005 for engineering degree courses.
For other state students HSC with minimum 50 % and AIEEE exam score or MHT-CET exam score.
For Jammu & Kashmir candidates HSC with minimum 50 % in PCM group.
