DRKIST is a pioneering venture of DRK Educational Society, which was registered under society's registration act (Reg No. 5923/2001) in the year 2001, dated September 5th. This institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, permitted by Government of AP and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. It is officially functioning on and from 23rd September 2004 situated in the Quthbullapur Mandal amidst a typical Telangana landscape of sparse vegetation, red soil and hillocks, this institute has on its right side main road that connects NH7, just 6 kms away and in its north is the Bowrampet village. The institute enjoys the advantage of being in proximity to the University's Kukatpally campus, which is Just 6 kms away.
DEPARTMENTS
The total strength of the students is 220 in the 4 branches of EEE, ECE, CSE and ME. These students are coached by highly qualified and well experienced faculty, who are dedicated not only the academic upliftment of each and every student, but are vigilant about their all round development. To ensure this several committees have been set up and the responsibilities are shared by all the members of the faculty.
Given the present and upcoming infrastructure, academic milieu, committed faculty and a stern but dedicated management this institute can be reckoned as a nursery for the budding engineers - the nation builders of tomorrow.
