GSS Institute of Technology is managed by H.R. Charitable Trust, which was founded in the year 2004. Sri. R. Srinvas & Smt. Girija Srinivas are the founder trustees. The Trust was formed on a profound philosophy that quality education is the mainstay of a successful society and this will be implemented in a phased manner with the ultimate hope that the students of GSSIT will eventually become an excellent and responsible citizen of the country. The Trust also envisages that the youth of our nation should be empowered technically with varied skills and leadership qualities to lead the country ahead.

Mr.R. Srinivas is the Secretary of H RCharitable Trust.He is also the founder trustee and the Secretary of ALPHA College of Engineering, Bangalore. He has a great ambition of making GSSIT as a model Engineering College in memory of his parents. He is a member of Rotary Club, Bangalore.

Smt.Girija Srinivas is the Chairperson of H R Charitable Trust.She is also Trustee of Alpha College of Engineering and member of Rotary Club.She is actively involved in social and charitable activities. She is an Entrepreneur and has her own Financial Corporation named as Girija Enterprises.She is a Builder & Developer with the office at: # 8, Appajappa Agrahara, Chamarajpet, Bangalore-560 018

Eligibility Criteria For Admission For B.E. The minimum qualification for admission for BE is: a. a pass in II PUc or 10+ higher secondary or equivalent qualifying examinination with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST). Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Biotech or Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects to chemistry in qualifying examination. b. English should be compulsarily one of the languages studied. c. Eligibility criteria for Diploma holders : Diploma holders should have 50% aggregate in the Final Examination conducted by corresponding branches of engineering. d. Should have appeared for entrance examination conducted by CET - 2008 Karnataka or COMED-K or UGCET - 2008 Seats will be allotted by CET at centralized con\unselling held at Bangalore.
