Kalpataru Institute of Technology, a premier centre of technical education was established in the year 1986 by its founder President Late Sri T.M. Manjunath. The college campus is located on the outskirts of the town at a distance of about 2 Km. From Railway station and Bus stand.The college is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi.

Our vision is to bring out technical graduates of high caliber with a strong character and to uphold the spiritual and cultural values of our country. Our mission is to impart quality technical and managerial education at graduate levels through our dedicated and committed staff and well established modern labs by continuously updating infrastructural facilities in all the departments and the library of the institutions, so that they are comparable with the best in the country. The faculty of the institution are sponsored for higher studies to enhance their knowledge.
TIPTUR TOWN
Tiptur Town, lies in the southern part of Karnataka and is in Tumkur District. It is 850.3 mtrs. Above sea level and is situated on Bangalore-Honnavar National Highway NH 206, at a distance of 144 km from Bangalore. The town is well connected by road and only two hours journey by train.
The present population of the town is about 55,000 and is famous for its coconut cultivation and marketing. It enjoys a picturesque situation with pleasant climate and encompasses an area of about 3 Sq. Kms.
The town is famous for copra products and hence it is known as "Kalpataru Nadu".

KALPATARU VIDYA SAMSTHE
Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe was established in the year 1962 by a few philanthropists of Tiptur town. The sole object of the samsthe is to promote good educational institutions in this region and to the upliftment of the human society.
