Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering, Gulbarga is one of the Premier Institute of Karnataka State. Established in the year 1958. All the efforts of the founder President of HKE Society, Shri Mahadevappa Rampure's dream came true. He was a great visionary and a statesman of this region. Starting with only three traditional departments like Civil, Mechanical and Electrical and with an intake of 120, the college has grown phenomenally. The Under-Graduate course in Electronics and communications Engineering was started in the year 1967, the first to be started in the entire Karnataka State. Now institute has 11 UG and 8 PG courses.
Institution has NBA Accreditation for all UG Courses.
